Stuffed Green Peppers

Ingredients:

2 Sweet bell peppers
6 oz. Beef
1 medium onion
1/3 cup Vegetable oil
1/2 cup Sour cream
1-1/2 Tbs. Wheat flour
1 Tbs. Tomato paste
1 Tbs. Cheese

Preparation:

  1. Clean peppers by removing pulp and seeds. Put into boiling water for a short time.
  2. For stuffing, chop up meat and onion, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Fry slightly in pan with hot vegetable oil.
  3. Fill peppers with stuffing.
  4. Put into oiled pan with a little water on the bottom. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  5. Bake in oven for 8-10 minutes.
  6. For sauce, fry wheat with hot oil until it gets yellowish in color. Add tomato paste and keep frying for 1-2 minutes. Mix in sour cream, salt, and boil for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve peppers with tomato cream sauce on top.
